Last year’s inaugural MUSE event was one of my favorite parties of 2014. It returns to the Museum of Fine Arts again this year. Don’t miss it. I’ve included a copy of this year’s event poster, designed by the wonderful artist Carrie M. Jadus.
The photo was taken at the Side Door Cabaret, with me playing our wonderful Yamaha grand. John Collins was the photographer. I’ll be playing a few songs at the MUSE fundraiser and co-hosting with the great Becca McCoy.

Who is his Muse?
“My artistic Muse is Bobby Short, the great cabaret pianist and singer who played for over 35 years at the Café Carlyle in New York. He was a student of the Great American songbook and knew the hit songs, but also the obscure gems. I met him once at the Café Carlyle. I’ve read both his books and listened to his albums.
